Health tools
Simple calculators and explainers. They give general information and do not replace a consultation.
- Blood sugar unit converterThis tool converts blood glucose between mg/dL and mmol/L, in either direction. Indian labs and meters mostly use mg/dL, while reports from the UK and many other countries use mmol/L. The conversion only changes the unit, not the meaning of the reading.
- BMI calculator for IndiansThis tool divides your weight by your height squared and reads the result against the Asian-Indian cut-offs. Overweight starts at 23 and obesity at 25 for Indians. BMI is a screening measure, not a diagnosis.
- Body Roundness Index calculatorThis tool turns your waist and height into a Body Roundness Index (BRI). A higher value means a rounder shape with more weight around the middle. It is a screening number, not a diagnosis.
- HbA1c to average glucose converterThis tool converts HbA1c to the estimated average glucose (eAG) it corresponds to, and also works the other way round. The result is an estimate based on a research formula. It does not replace your lab report or your doctor's advice.
- Thyroid report readerThis tool reads your TSH and FT4 against your lab's reference range. It tells you which common pattern the result fits and links to a plain-language article. It is an explainer, not a diagnosis.
- Waist-to-height ratio calculatorThis tool divides your waist measurement by your height. A ratio of 0.5 or more is commonly linked with higher health risk from fat around the middle. It is a screening measure, not a diagnosis.
